Improvements to the ALFANO 7
The Alfano 7 chronometer is equipped with an advanced 25 Hz satellite chip capable of receiving four different types of satellite system. This technology ensures optimal reception, even in the most difficult conditions and anywhere in the world.
The satellite system technologies supported are:
- NAVSTARS
- GLONASS
- GALILEO
- Beidou
Thanks to this advanced localisation chip, the Alfano 7 is able to calculate its position in space 25 times per second. That's a 150% increase on the Alfano 6.
This increase in GPS data acquisition frequency improves the accuracy of the trajectory detected and of micro-variations in the vehicle's speed, enabling more precise analysis of the driver's micro-corrections using the steering wheel.

25 Hz GPS
The ALFANO 7 is equipped with a 25 Hz GPS using four satellite constellations: GALILEO (EU), NAVSTAR (USA), GLONASS (Russia) and BEIDOU (China). This configuration significantly improves the accuracy of time and trajectory data, guaranteeing optimum accuracy for your performance on the track.
Battery life
With a battery life of 40 hours, the ALFANO 7 can run all weekend on a single charge. Thanks to advanced, energy-efficient electronics, you can also recharge the ALFANO 7 without removing it from the steering wheel, using an external battery (Power Bank).
Bluetooth
The Bluetooth function of the ALFANO 7 makes it easy to transfer data to a smartphone, tablet or PC. This process is quick and simple, activating via a shortcut button even when the ALFANO 7 is switched off. Alfano are the only company to offer its users the possibility of analysing their data directly from a smartphone or tablet, making the analysis of your performance more accessible than ever.
Wireless communication
The ALFANO 7 now incorporates wireless communication, enabling a range of wireless sensors to be connected directly without additional cables or boxes. Currently, two types of wireless sensors are available as options:
Internal pressure and temperature sensor: Measures pressure to an accuracy of 0.02 bar and temperature inside the tyre.
Wireless infrared sensor: Measures the temperature of the tyre surface.
New wireless sensors and peripherals will be added to the ALFANO range in the near future, continuing to improve data collection for in-depth analysis of your performance on the track!
