What is SpeedAngle

SpeedAngle Apex is the revolutionary Chrono GPS that allows you to monitor all the most important values of your performance on the track ... and on the road!

Data Logger and Timer with bending angle measurement

SpeedAngle is equipped with a 10 Hz GPS module and is one of a kind. It is designed to record YOUR performance, not the performance of the bike.

Measure and record the 3D movement of your guide, including:

  • bend angle up to 69 °
  • G longitudinal force up to +/- 1.5G
  • speed up to 410 km / h
  • GPS position 10 Hz GPS
  • Time per lap up to 1/1000 sec.

This data is essential to analyze your driving style and is the ideal method to improve your performance on the saddle.

In the box you will find everything you need for the installation, which takes a few minutes and requires no holes or wiring.

Why is bending angle important?

It is precisely "the fold" to differentiate between 4-wheeled and 2-wheeled vehicles. Unlike cars, motorbikes must bend to be able to face corners. Knowing only speed and strength G without knowing the angle of the bend is having an incomplete picture of one's performance: it is important to have all the necessary indicators to be able to improve our guide.

The importance of the lean angle is not to measure HOW MUCH it bent to the maximum, but exactly how and when to bend while driving. This, together with the acceleration and deceleration measurement and the GPS position, can show exactly how much and when we brake before a curve, our bending speed in relation to the angle and if the reopening of the gas occurs at the correct point. Only by being fully aware of how a curve is dealt with will it be possible to improve its range and therefore its ability to drive.

Automatic timer

In addition to monitoring essential movement parameters, SpeedAngle is also a precise lap timer with fully automatic operation:

  • Automatically search for the track you are on
  • Automatically sets the start / end point of the track
  • Automatic departure
  • Automatic stop if it detects inactivity from the sensors
  • Automatic data recording
  • Report on the display of the main parameters

In most cases, once on the track, all you have to do is turn on your SpeedAngle and the device will do it all by itself. This will allow you to focus solely on your performance and not be distracted by what should be a tool to support you.

Fast turn indicator

Once a new fast lap has been detected, SpeedAngle will show the time achieved for a preset period of time so as to have the improvement immediately at a glance.

Editable track settings

The start / end point of the track can be set via the automatic setup function or it can be loaded previously via your PC. It is also possible to download the track settings inside your SpeedAngle to edit them, add sectors, delete them or save them as a file.

Free analysis and replay software

Thanks to the free R3 software (available in the download section) you can review your performance and compare it with other previously recorded or your friends. In the software the force G, the bend angle that is indicated with a triangle that extends from the motorcycle indicator, is clearly displayed using colored indicators. The trajectory is traced and shown on the route map. You can also view data related to a single lap. This data will help you analyze and improve your performance on the saddle.

Replay con Google Earth

It is possible to superimpose your log on Google Earth to view your performance in 3D thanks to satellite images.

“Drive" mode for driving not on the track

SpeedAngle can also be used outside the track thanks to the "Drive" mode which records your driving on the road and shows the bend angle and speed in real time as well as recording all the parameters including the force G.

Overlay Video

It is possible to use software such as Dashware (dashware.net) or RaceRender (racerender.com) to view the telemetry information on your videos just like the MotoGP riders!

Simple installation

SpeedAngle is supplied with a mounting bracket equipped with AMPS compatible holes. It is possible to use the sturdy two-sided adhesive with velcro 3m to install your SpeedAngle directly on the steering plate or use the holes of the AMPS plate. The sensor can be installed simply by using the 3M bi-adhesive supplied. No need to drill or run cables in any way.

Manufacturer SpeedAngle

A suivre donc. Michel

Le produit est super avec beaucoup d'options pour prendre des données utiles pour chasser les chronos
