Implementation information:

Restom® Kit Alu contains:

Restom® SDT 4060 degreaser
Restom® EIR 2000 resin / hardener set

The instruction manual supplied with the kit is similar to that of our other tank kits and gives all the necessary details for the correct use of the products.

IF TREATMENT IS ALREADY PRESENT:

If a Restom EIR 2000 treatment is already present in the tank, but has not been applied ( detachment ) or has suffered a shock ( crack ): proceed with its stripping with Restom® DKPANT 4031  following the following procedure:  Stripping procedure.pdf then treat with Restom® Alu Kit.

If treatment,  OTHER  than Restom EIR 2000  is  already present  in the tank, a  prior pickling is mandatory  in the following procedure:  Procedure décapage.pdf
Our cleaner, Restom 4031 DKPANT remove most coatings present in the tanks (eg the original BMW red coating), but is  ineffective in some cases . We propose to  carry out a free stripping test  on samples of coatings that you send us by mail.

⚠ Recommendations:

During the degreasing phase with Restom SDT 4060, do not close the tank tightly to prevent the tank from rising. Risk of deformation.
