Technical characteristics of the Accossato thumb brake master cylinders



Far from being a forgotten technical solution, the thumb brake master cylinders will find their way to all riders who are looking to balance their acceleration phase on the track and limit slippage.



This long version is mounted on handlebars with a diameter of 22mm and 10.5mm diameter pistons with a variable centre distance of the mounting holes from 40 to 50mm, for a total weight of 130g. The internal diameter of the piston is 10 mm and the push arm is 60 mm long.



The manufacturer recommends the use of DOT 4 brake fluid for limited maintenance. This way, you can be sure to get the best results on the track.



The history of the Italian company Accossato



Since its beginnings in 1969, the brand has been linked to its success in sports competition. In total, drivers wearing Accossato colours have reached the podium once in the World Championship, 3 times in the European Championship and 12 times in the Italian Championship.



Founded by Giovanni Accossato, the Italian motorbike manufacturer produced a total of around 800 models, ranging from 80 to 50 cc. In the last period of its production, Accossato also produced 125 cc bikes. To this day, the memory of the Accossato motorbikes lives on thanks to the will of the fans to maintain the myth around these two wheels. A sporting passion that takes shape in Heidelberg, Germany, known for its Accossato motorbike rally every summer in August.



Alongside the production of its bikes, Accossato has entered into commercial partnerships with the most important motorbike manufacturers in the sector and also produces its own motorbike parts that are distributed internationally.
