Thanks to its high-tech power boosting design, it is an original "fitment" type battery, sold with electrolyte (acid) and therefore a maintenance-free battery, which does not require acid level checks but must be filled before use.
YTZ8V instructions for use :
Place the battery on a flat surface, remove the sealing sheet
Remove the band from the electrolyte container caps
Place the container upside down and push hard to break the seals
Check that the air bubbles rise and leave for about 20 minutes
Gently remove the container once all the liquid has drained
Place the cap strip flush with the top of the battery with both hands
Your battery is ready for use.
You should charge your battery with a charger for at least 1 hour before first use or drive at least 30km once the battery is mounted.

Expert advice
If you don't intend to use it immediately, you should charge it once a month (with a BC1000 battery charger) or it will lose 20% of its capacity and 30% of its life. Completely discharged for more than a month, the deterioration of the battery is irreversible.
Important:
If this first charge is not carried out (or carried out with an inappropriate charger), the battery will lose 20% of its nominal capacity and 30% of its life. A battery that remains completely discharged for more than a month will deteriorate irreversibly. In this case, the one-year manufacturer's warranty will not apply.
