Armour Bodies is a Canadian company founded in 2000 in North Bay, Ontario. Thanks to its unique technology, it has brought to market the most flexible and resistant fibreglass poly on the world market.

Each mould is carefully developed in Canada from original parts. They are fully scanned and then processed using software to create moulds with perfect finishes.

To make their fairings, Armour Bodies uses full-sheet fibreglass, which makes them much stronger and much lighter. As the fibre itself is very flexible, the full sheet retains all its flexible properties.

Other fairing manufacturers use pieces of fibre, which makes their parts heavier and more brittle.

The FlexoResin added to the fibre comes from the kayak industry. It has been developed to resist rock impacts thanks to its exceptional flexibility and surprising lightness.

This FlexoResin also offers a virtually zero shrinkage rate, guaranteeing the uniformity and conformity of the parts. What's more, it highlights imperfections so they can be corrected before the next manufacturing stages. This stage saves you the time and effort of a bodybuilder.

Every fixing point on Armour Bodies polys is reinforced with Carbon-Kevlar to prevent cracking and crazing during the assembly of your fairing.

Finally, each kit is primed (light grey finish). All you need to do is give it a light sanding if you want to paint it for optimum adhesion. The inside of each piece is painted black for a clean, crisp finish.

No Gel Coat is used in the manufacture of these fairings as it is extremely rigid unlike resin and primer.
