MOTUL Racing Brake Fluid (RBF 600) is a 100% synthetic brake fluid designed for all hydraulic brake and clutch control systems for which a silicone-free synthetic fluid - DOT 4 - is recommended.
Specially designed to withstand the very high temperatures of hydraulic controls for racing brakes (steel or carbon) and clutches. This oil is also suitable for conventional brakes with steel discs and for hydraulic clutch controls. Exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 5.1 standards, except for viscosity at -40°C / -40°F. Very high boiling point: 312°C / 594°F.

STANDARDS : FMVSS 116 DOT 4 / SAE J 1703 / ISO 4925 (5.1, 4 & 3)
Extremely high thermal resistance and stability: The very high boiling point (312°C / 594°F), which is higher than conventional DOT 5.1 / DOT 5 (260°C / 500°F min) and DOT 4 (230°C / 446°F min) fluids, means that braking efficiency is maintained even when the brakes are under extreme stress.
Effectiveness in wet weather: The very high wet boiling point (205°C / 401°F), which is higher than conventional DOT 5.1 non-silicone base fluids (180°C / 356°F min) and DOT 4 (155°C / 311°F min), means that braking effectiveness is maintained in wet weather. DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 brake fluids have the property of absorbing moisture from the air, which lowers the boiling point and increases the risk of ‘vapor lock’.
The wet boiling point is measured after moistening the product with approximately 3.5% water.
Directions for use MOTUL RBF 600 - High performance brake fluid for motorbikes
Avoid mixing with lower performance polyglycol based brake fluids. Do not mix with mineral (LHM) and silicone (DOT 5 silicone base) based fluids. Chemical product aggressive to hands, paints and varnishes.
In the event of skin contact, rinse thoroughly.
