When should I change my brake discs?
A brake disc should be changed when its thickness is no longer sufficient, from 10 to 15% of its original thickness. Most parts are between 4 and 4.5 mm thick. Below 3 mm, it is necessary to change the product. This limit is usually reached at about 60,000 km. Ideally, you should check the condition of your discs every time you change the pad set, which is about every 30,000 km. This figure obviously depends on your driving style.
