Quick maintenance guide for your motorbike fork

After removing the cap from your tube and draining some of the oil, you can compress the spring and gradually pull out the various components that make up the inside of your fork.

This will give you access to the dust cover which you can remove with a small flat screwdriver in order to replace it. To extract the famous SPI seals, you must first remove the retaining clip before giving a few sharp blows to gain access to the seals and friction rings. This will allow you to clean or replace them.

Remember to be methodical when working on your fork, as the position of each component is important. You can also find specific tools in our shop to make maintenance easier. As the different parts are fragile, we invite you to handle them with care. Don't hesitate to add a little bit of oil when reassembling them so that they slide more easily.
