This kit allows you to completely remove the emission control system from your motorbike if it is specified in the compatible models. The installation of this kit is intended for closed circuit competition only. By purchasing this anti-pollution removal kit, you acknowledge that it is not intended for use on public roads.
Why install an anti-pollution suppression kit on your motorbike?
In order to comply with anti-pollution regulations, manufacturers must now fit vehicles with a catalytic converter and ensure that a precise balance is maintained between the air and petrol emitted by the exhaust system. Your motorbike is therefore fitted as standard with an anti-pollution system called PAIR on Kawasaki models, AIS on Yamaha models, SAS on KTM models and CLEAN SYSTEM on the rest of the motorbike models.
This system routes fresh air from the airbox to the exhaust system to help burn unburnt fuel in the exhaust. It is designed to improve emissions on original exhaust systems, but can cause exhaust noise and backfire when retrofitting exhaust systems.
The SmartMoto emission suppression kit is made up of CNC machined parts (the blanking plates), combined with SmartMoto complete kits that provide all the components you need to eliminate the secondary air system.
