Due to emissions and noise regulations, secondary throttles have appeared on motorbikes over the past decade. This secondary throttle is controlled by the motorbike's ecu. For maximum performance and precise throttle response, this secondary system is removed, mainly on motorbike circuits. If the actuator motor fails (a common problem on some motorbike models), it is also much cheaper to replace with the STVE than to buy a new motor.

The unit is fully sealed and encapsulated in epoxy, which provides extreme protection of the internal parts against shock, vibration and water.

The STV eliminator plugs directly into the motorbike's wiring harness. The Plug 'n Go connector makes installation quick and easy, eliminating the need to modify the original wiring. Using this small unit, you can remove the secondary valve assembly.

Note: After installation, it is recommended that the engine's air/fuel ratio (AFR) be checked by a spinning centre and adjusted if necessary.
