Ses formes rondes et fines, toutes droites sorties des années 70, ont demandé du savoir faire afin d'exploiter la puissance du moteur, au maximum.L'enjeu aérodynamique était que ces silencieux soient positionnés au plus près de la machine. Grâce à cet échappement, la moto répond aussi bien dans les bas que dans les hauts régimes. Les résultats sur le banc donnent un gain de puissance à bas régime et une montée plus rapide dans les tours. En supprimant le catalyseur, on retrouve 2 CV de plus.
