The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, relative humidity and the thickness of the applied layer. With drying in normal conditions (at 20°C, 50% relative humidity): dust-free after 10 minutes, touch-dry after 30 minutes.
TECHNICAL DATABASE BASED ON WATER
Description: Tintometric system made with acrylic resins APEO free, designed for car refinishing, composed of 65 base colors: 35 opaque bases, 7 aluminum bases, 4 graphite, 15 nacres, 4 xirallic and 3 auxiliaries.
Mixing: Before using the different bases, shake to mix the product, especially the aluminum bases. Once weighed the individual components of the hue, mix immediately.
Always filter the product with a 125 micron filter.
Note: Prepare the support with dry abrasive paper P600 or with wet P1000 paper, then degrease with an anti-silicone degreaser.
Application :
HVLP gun - nozzle 1,3-1,4
Pressure: 2 / 2,5 bar
Operating temperature: not less than 18 ° C
Application of metallic and pearlescent hues
1. Apply an anchoring veil and allow to dry until completely opaque.2 Apply a second full coat (for non-covering colors apply a third coat). Between the two layers allow to dry until completely opaque.
3. Apply a final layer of metallization with the same pressure but increasing the distance between the gun and the support.
Note: To accelerate drying, it is advisable to use a venturi and to increase the temperature of application.
Applying opaque hues
1. Apply a first coat and allow to dry until completely opaque
2. Apply a second coat to achieve complete coverage. In the case of hints of poor coverage, apply a third coat.
Always wait for opacification between successive layers.
Note: To accelerate drying, it is advisable to use a venturi and to increase the temperature of application.
Drying at 20 ° C / 40% humidity, 5 min for the anchor layer and 10 min the second layer.
Sanding: To eliminate any surface defects, sand with dry abrasive P1000 or higher after complete drying of the paint and repeat the proper painting cycle.
Varnish: Min. Time for application of varnish 15 minutes, maximum time 72 hours
Conservation: all shades kept in good conditions can be used within 3 months of their preparation
Theoretical yield: 3-4m² / kg of PAE product
CAUTION: KEEP OUT OF FREEZE. Store at temperatures above 15 ° C.
