K&N takes air filters seriously

OE (original equipment) replacement air filters for automobiles typically add 1 to 4 horsepower. The secret of our success lies in the unique characteristics of our filter media, originally developed by K&N many years ago in the dust, sweat and tears of desert motocross racing.

The high flow cotton gauze air filter is washable, reusable and designed to last the life of a car or motorbike engine. It consists of four to six sheets of cotton gauze layered between two sheets of aluminium mesh. This media is then pleated and oiled to improve its filtering capabilities and overall performance. K&N air filters have been created for an environment that requires maximum power and improved acceleration, as well as protection from the dirt and dust of off-road racing.

The last air filter your engine will ever need

K&N guarantees its filters for 10 years or one million kilometres. Why? Because the filters are built to last as long as your engine. Handcrafted in the UK and USA from the finest materials, K&N genuine replacement air filters are washable and reusable.

We recommend that you clean and oil your filter every 50,000 miles before putting it back in the engine, or about once a year depending on your driving. It will be as good as new!
