Thyssenkrupp Carbon Components produces woven carbon fibre rims for high performance motorbikes. Thanks to the road approval with ABE and KBA number, no additional TÜV approval is required, the wheels can be mounted directly. Thyssenkrupp Carbon Components is the only manufacturer of ultra-light carbon wheels to use complex braiding technology. The rim wells are produced on the world's largest radial braiding line with a diameter of nine metres. Compared to conventional production methods, braiding technology offers significant advantages: the seamless processing of the carbon fibres increases the strength and damage tolerance of the wheels and makes it possible to produce the world's lightest rims for motorbikes.
